You are essentially competing with a whole lot of other reviewers when requesting to review a product. Here are some ways to improve your Amazon profile and look more inviting to the sellers.

Fill in your profile details

Sellers want to know about you so they can send you appropriate products. Tell us a bit about yourself, your interests and hobbies.

If you are an exercise junkie, let us know and sellers of yoga mats, drink bottles and dumbbells will be happy to send you things to review.

If you tell us you are a Mom then baby products and childrens toys are more likely to come your way.

Have more reviews on your profile.

If you don't have many reviews on your profile sellers will think you won't review the products they send you.

Go and review products you have previously purchased on Amazon or used in the past. Think of all the household goods you use, movies you've seen and books you've read and write reviews on those.

Write good quality reviews.

Think about what you would like to see in a review when deciding on whether you should purchase a product.

The review heading should be a good summary of the review. DO NOT put the product name here. Buyers already know what the product is.

One sentence reviews do not help subsequent buyers out. DO NOT copy and paste the product information here. Reviews should be detailed, informative, well written and complement the product description already on Amazon.

Enhance your reviews with photos and videos.

Some people like reading reviews. Some people are more visual. Help out other buyers with unboxing videos and product close up photos.

Are you having problems purchasing a product with the supplied promo code? If so, please contact the seller via the supplied email.

Also, please be patient. Sellers are pretty busy people and it can take awhile to respond to your emails.

After 3 days of receiving a promo code you can report the seller to us (using the same button) if you cannot resolve this issue with the seller.
